Creative with Google :)
Its amazing, but it works.. Even for weird stuff. Its amazingly simple!
So whats the consequence? They cant go leaning on google for what people put online.. So if they want to take this down, they ll probably have to write each and every site owner in separate!
Depending on how much this picks up within the comunity, this might just stir up an exciting & extremely funny Security trend!
*Read this in about an hour*
So you had your fun? messing around in what other people thought hidden.. (security trough obscurity is Never a good idea!) and now the other part of the bargain kicks in.. You re opening All your webspace to find that stuff you just put online but didn't plan on anyone downloading except that one friend you gave the url to.. Because; how d those Other people find out about that url?? hehe - think again :)
resourceful guy, who put 1 & 1 together :)

I ve said it for years & I'll soon have the time to do so.. I'm going to improve my spanish.. I want it to be at least as good as my French is right now.. thats quite well tough not fluent due to lack of use. But reading & thinking are no problem..
Now, this is something Ive said all along, but to be honest.. I actually d like to learn Italian!
Spanish for the obvious reason.. it sounds cool, its a big language in the world, ..
But Italian.. look for an italian song.. listen to it.. & the tell me you havent fallen in love with the way Italian sounds! So I'll probably do my best at mastering Spanish & once that succeeds to a decent level.. I'll learn Italian. Probably :)
I also want to do A LOT of Linux Certifications.. Because there is no reason not to! :) And they re not all that expensive either! All I saw so far (except the RedHat ones - but those are Extremely low on my list..) are below €300.. so thats affordable :)

Two newest books..
* Le Comte de Monte-Cristo tome 1 un livre de Alexandre Dumas
* Le Comte de Monte-Cristo tome 2 un livre de Alexandre Dumas
Yes.. I'll be reading french the next month or so.. I need to blow that dust off my french & This is THE way :)
But first I'm going to finish "De Keuze" by "Jess Walter" .. probably not that good, but cheap goes a long way :)
& after that I'll probably buy & work my way trough "Spanish for dummies" .. I want to enlarge the base spanish I know right now..
I'll also probably buy some books online too, soon. I want some IT books but the choice in stores is really sad.. Not up to the level I'm looking for..

Check out their MySpace (yeah, tough I am against MySpace on principle, I did find them through there.. And I will soon have to admit that MySpace is A LOT better than all those old ASL clones..)

I dont drool on hardware.. but I have to admit, I like this keyboard & mouse
Its the ones I use @ work & .. im actually considering buying them for home use! The keyboard takes a bit getting used to because.. its the same size of a normal keyboard but has less space for the usual buttons due to the extra ones. This means they had to compress the other buttons to fit everything in. So, typing blind, you ll soon type an S instead of a D and a Z instead of an E.. but humans do adjust quickly :D
I'll probably wait to see how the batteries hold out though.. Batteries might be the real dealbreaker here! :s
Update (5m later or so, lol) - Fuck, I just discovered the downside of having a standard and a non standard keyboard.. I just pressed CTRL-Z instead of CTRL-A
.. I feel like starting "Operation Permanent Linux Bliss" !!

I didnt go to Graspop this year :( but I did get to see some Great music yesterday!
Earth Crisis - Terror - Sworn Enemy - Walls Of Jericho - No Turning Back - Morda
We didnt see Morda (again)
NTB & Sworn Enemy were OK
Walls of Jericho & Terror were Insane!!!
Earth Crisis was utterly dissapointing (and only partly because their "Vegan Straight Edge" message really doesnt mean much to me..)
Im thinking about Dour, just to see Jericho & Terror again!! But I think I d rather see them in a smaller concert instead of a festival..

"The Maine Coon is one of the largest breeds of domestic cat, known for its intelligence and playfulness as well as its distinctive physical appearance."
And we just bought a lil one. He ll stay with his parents for another 8 weeks, but then he s coming to live with us - Cute, no? :)
"Maine Coons are very large and energetic cats, sometimes weighing up to around 11-12 kilograms (25 pounds); the average weight is 6 to 9 kilograms (13-20 pounds) for adult males and less (7-11 pounds) for females."
"Male Maine Coons may grow to a length in excess of 1 meter (40 inches); the longest cat on record is a Maine Coon 121cm (49 inches) in length."
So yeah, He'll grow up to be one large cat.. Given time .. "Maine Coons develop slowly, and don't achieve their full size until they are three to five years old."
cute! :)

the memories of long, to root us into our every day lives. Sometimes one of these memories becomes obsolete, passé. Dependent on what memory & the way it became, this can fill us with an incredible sadness.. droefnis.. until we settle in the memory and give that litle root up to the modern times. Its not that we need it, its that we .. take solace in the fact that its there!

Why? Have a lot of music? Want to easily manage & hear them? Convert them to MP3 & install the software. Then browse to your ampache server with your preferred client & enjoy all the luxuries you ever wanted in a jukebox :)
Its Amazing!
I have some major news since this morning.. but I just dont have the time right now for an extensive blog post.. maybe later tonight..

Hit that Jive, Jack
damn, I just discovered this. I steered away from it before, but after being in a curious mood today & discovering Ampache has a plugin to it, I'm trying it & .. damn :)
My fresh last.fm page.. Probably wont be all that interesting the first few weeks.. Im curious if it ll enhance my Ampache experience!!
I just typed "Louis Armstrong" in the artist box & now I'm hearing a lot of nice jazz, some of which I didnt know & do like.. Funk!
Privacy is changing.. people WANT to share certain things with the world.. altough some of them are still shy in regard to real life aquaintances about it.

the times they are a changin'
SO whats going on?
Well.. for starters, I quit my job at the hut. I need some time to sort things out & wont need the hut anymore after the next change
I 'm getting hired by my internship company :) Hell Yeah :D
And we re moving! We re moving to a much nicer apartment in Gent! Huge living room, bedroom, kitchen, toilet, bathroom and a yard :) yaay!
The ascension.. on to the next part, done with what has passed - closure
& all that jazz
Oh & I'm probably going to graspop next weekend & I'm seriously considering Blue Note Festival!
& for the record.. I LOATHE the idea of le tour de france passing trough gent. ARRIVING in gent! BARELY A STREET FROM WHERE I LIVE!!!!!! Loathesome Frackers! I LIVE inside the "no public transportation" area.
Its kinda weird that I 'll be living the "Gentse Feesten" on a whole different scale this year. Last year, I was working constantly @ the hut & when I wasnt I was drinking & partying with the other hut peeps. I'll still try to do some of that partying tough ;) Mohito here we come :D
.. changes :) for the good!

so thats it.. its sunk in, its over!
I can hardly believe it.. I ve been watching this for SOO long.. I remember renting the DVDs, years ago, and watching them episode after episode, sitting at my brothers computer because mine didnt have a dvd player.. All I can do now is watch them trough again.. and again.. and again :) lol
Cant wait to get myself the whole box dvd set!
Anywho, the story is over.. but they made it a difficult ending? Everyone hoped to be able to turn off the tv, content without doubts or questions. No loose ends. But that wasnt what they had in store for us.
We had a parting party yesterday. Do things right..
We ate zitti (as described in the first Sopranos cookbook - proud owner :D) and when the moment was there we poured fine whiksy, cigars were lit (I really dont care for that experience. Waste of money like all other smoking!) and we sat back, ready for the experience.
Great episode! Lotza stuff happening, .. excitement, comedy, surprises..
The ending on the other hand.. Main reaction was WTF! You can go anywhere you want with that ending.. And ist incredibly FRUSTRATING. But ist probably the only way to have at least some of us pleased :/ Problem is.. there s still So Much stuff going around.. what with the trial? What with Sil? What with the whole organisation? ...? Questions unanswered! Journey!
On the other hand, they killed of such a bunch of important people.. Season 7 d be quite aquard (how do you spell this?) without all those.
anywho, I'll stick with the idea they live happily ever after.. T dying isnt really what I d have liked so..
There s only old episodes to watch now..

Whow!

Sopranos.. User Rating: 9.5/10 !
& Deadwood..
User Rating: 9.4/10
Amazing
I cant get a top of series tough
& a 9 in series isnt a 9 for movies. Top movie is 9.1 - The Godfather

I already knew that in linux it all comes down to resourcefulness.. Once again its been proven. You can do anything you want with the proper combination of basic commands!
I was tired of depending on dyndns, especially since I have an own URL. Problem was, how to get my external IP adress. The first commands I thought about were traceroute / ifconfig / ping / .. but, I soon realized this wouldnt work. A lot of data but just not what I needed :) So I googled it & it came up with a 'lynx -dump "http://checkip.dyndns.org"' style command. This sounded a bit bloated to me, but I gave it a try. didnt turn up too much. Another person used "html2text" & .. I didnt even try that one. Those just arent the standard commands.. Well, they are, but they do A LOT MORE!
So whats the solution? "wget"! :) So far so good.. "wget url".. but thats still relying on dyndns. And I Didnt want that. Now, I use a standard D-Link router. This router has a device info page which contains the external address. This is accurate.
So we 've got the data, but A LOT of data. Too much :)
& we 've got grep for that. So lets craft ourselves a grep command!
The external IP is on a line on its own. 3 lines above it, there 's the word "Address" so we'll do a "grep Address FILE -A 5" (-A 5 to get the 5 trailing lines)
Now we have 4 of those occurrences. We only need the IP addresses, so we ll pipe that output to "grep -E [0-9]+\.[0-9]+\.[0-9]+\.[0-9]\+ "
This gives us 2 addresses, an internal one for the router himself (yeah, its a bitch) and the valuable external one! Now lets separate these :) We dont know anything about the later, but we obviously know the first.. So another quick grep here.. "grep -v 192.168.0." so we dont see any internal addresses.
All this put together gives us the following
wget -q --user username --password password http://192.168.0.1/st_device.html
grep Address st_device.html -A 5 | grep -oE [0-9]+\.[0-9]+\.[0-9]+\.[0-9]+ | grep -v 192.168.0.
rm -f st_device.html*

I was supposed to work al week.. most of it got canceled (5 out of 6 days) I'm not entirely happy about that. Tough I do like the fact that this buys me more time to work for school..
The whole mob thing.. Amazing :)
Im looking forward to GTA IV. Rusian Mob.. Yeah :) A pitty, the amount of upgrades this ll ask of my PC. Another pitty.. Ill have to wait for it to come out on PC & those sony bastards.. it ll take a while to happen :( Im still wondering if we ll ever get to play the ".. stories" games (VC stories, SA stories, ..) altough I dont really care about those. PSP quality.. Still loving the whole Vice City game :)
Lefty .. what an amazingly Rich character.. damn. only Pachino :)
& Sonny Black.. Michael Madsen is Amazing! Incredible
& Donnie himself ofcourse. Depp is a powerfull actor.
Great cast, but you dont get a 7 in imdb easily :)
59min Wiseguy Tennis.. Supa
I might go out & get me the Godfather box tomorrow :)

Anyone who hasnt said the words by now can crawl into a hole & decompose for all I care (with maybe One exception) Those who cant handle this shouldnt be reading this. There s lots of other sites on the web. Try one of these.. (one, two, three!) There s no roster this time. Noone could be bothered to wait for the day. The Hut REALLY screwed things up for me this year. Its a pitty. 25 is a number to remember. And I will.. 26 will be better!
My busy work schedule did have its costs. I really want to pass this annoying school year, I really want to FINALLY be rid of school! But by god, if Id have known the cost.. I d probably have gone into it differently. Or maybe plainly just not at all. I mean, I dont really value the rubbish they thought me. & I still believe that I d have made it without all those useless years. I got to deploy myself in ways i d probably wouldnt have had the time for otherwise. And those are rich experiences. But its not what school taught me. Its what utterly ignoring school enabled me to achieve. Asfor my internship.. I can honestly say that the ONLY appliance of my X year education was the fact that they told me about wireshark. And I would have figured that out by my own too! I realize (again the s-z problem - amazing) now even more that the rubbish they value so high is Actually worth Nothing more than I supposedly ignorantly suspected.
As expected today was utter shite. I actually started the day by walking into dog excrement. (yeah, shite for those that dont understand)
Oh & I also found out why I can barely find anyone to play games with me anymore.. I tought they just didnt enjoy it as much as I do.. As it appears, I was wrong! How naive.
I should go to sleep but I wont like the day I wake up to, so Im putting it off. One heap of excrement, I tells ya!
I wanted to buy the latest gloomcookie (Thats 5) yesterday, but the guy didnt know the exact price, so I couldnt. Utterly depressing So I got 3 episodes (apparently thats all of them) of Nightmares & Fairy Tales. They re all by Serena Valentino & the good people at Slave Labor Graphics (SLG)
Plus some other commics. A dragon ball & 2 Dufaux et Marini commics L'Etoile du Désert (lol, I just discovered they got Rapaces translated in english. They re called Raptors. funny. & good too, they deserve it. They should to the scorpion too. That one s even BETER) and 3 dvds while we re making the list & checking it twice.. Sin City, Donnie Brasco (can you believe I havent seen this movie!!) & Aeon Flux (I REALLY need to get me them series DVDs from Amazon!!)
Battlestar Galactica looks promising & Im extremely happy to have GTA Vice City to play. Its SUCH a good game.. Amazing!
Im off to bed
Mini already pointed out I am staying up waay beyond what I originally planned. pf. I just dont feel like tomorrow!
ah & tonight will be the first night of No Muscle Relaxants! I hope Im not cripled in the morning!! I look forward to a pure night of sleep tough :)
.. things will get better! Only 3 more weeks, 5 more weeks & 4 months.. Ive been saying this for the last 2 years, only 4 more months :) No time to get burnt out, thats for sure!
Oh & the bitches at my provider didnt restore my database after the crash. I'm going to mail tomorrow & HOPE they can.. But I somehow dont think they will :s Its a lesson. You cant even trust the people you pay to do it, to backup & safeguard your valuable data. Thank Me I keep the valuable data here & backed up on an external location. .. pff And to think that I am seriously considering moving my blog to that environment. I might have lost my total blog data last week. Imagine that. Maybe I should make myself a book out of all this :) That d be rich :D
So, no real reflections as of now, maybe later. Tough reflections might be more of a 31 december kind of thing. Its a healthy thing to do once in a while :)

• The 'hockey stick' graph has been proven wrong
• Chaotic systems are not predictable
• We can't trust computer models of climate
• They predicted global cooling in the 1970s

• Global warming is down to the Sun, not humans
• It’s all down to cosmic rays

• It was warmer during the Medieval period, with vineyards in England
• We are simply recovering from the Little Ice Age

its late
but im chilling, so thats ok I guess
After discovering GNU Backgammon, DS backgammon in 42 all times classics feels silly. Good for nobrain games tough.. The AI on my cell is even worse. I cant play anything else than easy on it.. easy = almost nobrain.. Im really impressed by the GNU version tough!
I just played the chess in it for the first time.. I never started it, because I didnt feel like investing the time.. And I didnt feel like losing because I didnt really Play.
But I did now. On easy. And I screwed up, early in the game. & I mean I SCREWED UP! I lost my queen on the 6th move or so. But then the AI just Sucked. And I won. Unbelievable. The mess I was in.. Even an easy chess player should have beat me. I wasnt really concentrating on the game. But none the less.. I won. A slight dissapointment! I'll play for serious & on the more difficult scale tomorrow.
I AM sleepy & there IS a place I'm going to..
bed..

My reflexes have really improved the last few months. Ive always had em but I ve just tuned into them even more.
I dont get why people watch lost.. I watch lost myself & .. gawd it sucks! True, Season 3 is the best yet, but still .. it SUCKS! The quality is just .. missing!
Want to see great tv? something new? something recent? Try Heroes! You dont want that? Ever considered Sopranos? Yeah, I know, its running to its last days.. Anything else? Care for a laugh? Something Exceedingly witty? Tune into Desperate Housewives!
But maddon' Just QUIT watching Lost!
Forget the fact that you re curious & realise that its just plain junk. Nothing EVER happens nor will! Lets all just be honest. It sucks
We have a mint plant in the kitchen. One of those scrawny things you buy in a supermarket. My lovely honey moved it into a real pot (instead of the crappy original) and its Overly happy, growing like weeds.
And because of this, I discovered.. there s nothing as good as fresh mint :) The smell, the sweet taste, .. At first I only craved for an iced Mojito, but by now I just cant stop eating it :) Nonetheless; I will get myself Rum, Ice, .. ASAP!

I'm FINALLY tired!
I took me about three months of hell, but I'm there - I'm Tired. The whole double shifts, 7 days a week thing.. Im glad I proved myself & everyone that I can do it :) but now that its almost over, .. I am happy it is.
I dont feel like going back to school , back to the useless shite after spending my days doing stuff that actually matters to anyone. At least i can do something that matters at pizzahut - how sad is that? Anywho, its only for some months & then I'll be able to do interesting stuff. Stuff I actually LIKE doing
oh god I'll be glad to get out of school! Finally
I had a fun & interesting internship.
Installing some linux boxes & stuff.. yeah! Extremely Fun :)
& nothing as nice as seeing it all come together. The real user using the systems.. The stuff minituesly prepared.. Carefully tested & then brought into action. Abused compared to the careful testing it had before.. Its great to see it all comming together :)
& so is red dwarf :) Smeggin amazing series
I feel like having a glass of whisky.. I should get a softer one than I have right now. Pure Turf
My back is killing me!
I'll have to call the hut & the doctor tomorrow! I wont be able to keep it up for more than 20m :/ Annoying!
..
tired!
& now the circle is round :)

Usually I dont really seek visitors or whatever, but this time is different. The phone number of the delicious pizza restaurant "Rimini" in Ghent! Best pizza in Gent but The ONLY restaurant of which you cant for the love of GOD find the telephone number online! This has to change, once too many times did I waste time looking for it & then still having to go downstairs & cross the street to order one of their delicious pizzas!
The Rimini uses a cell phone for their orders & the number (or telefoonnummer in dutch) is 0484 618417. Thats Zero Four Eight Four, Six One, Eight Four, One Seven! Nul Vier Acht Vier, Zes Een, Acht Vier, Een Zeven. And thats in Belgium for those foreign peeps, thats +32, drop the zero!
Update - Just finished eating..
Cell (GSM) : 0473 792559
Regular : 09 2235023
They do seem to prefer people using the regular phone number!

Early sex may lead teens to delinquency, study shows - A nice example of how studies sometimes dont see the obvious & come up with preposterous conclusions.. They should realise that sex appears to have been marginalised to the same level as crime, but no relation between the two exists.. Im sure they do too
Anywho, Im dead tired
but I did some good stuff!
It was nice to have a calm evening.. I needed it! Its been too long, too long a time I havent been relaxed, really relaxed

Incredibly Tough..
but an amazing heap of Fun
I cant wait till next year!
We started off (Friday 10pm - all times are extremely rough estimates) in 2 groups, one to the east & one to the west of the 3 km radius terrain. We then had to meet up somewhere to exchange decoder keys (6amà. After exchanging we looked for a code (7 am), had a small nap (8am) & went off to our checkpoint..
The rest is for later as I already fell asleep just now
Continuing..
Once arrived at our checkpoint (12 am), we dug out the 30cm tent rod (with our bare hands & some stones we found) and continued for out first outer ring checkpoint. This one was conveniently close, about 1 km (again, estimates) away. We cleared the checkpoint without any problems (at about 1pm) We then started off to our second checkpoint, 3,5km further. We had a closer one but deemed it too dangerous to bother.. We ran into some other people who told us stories about people getting caught there.. We cleared the second checkpoint, had another 45 minute nap (till 7pm) & dragged ourselves to our last checkpoint of the outer ring.
There we had a planning moment, where we decided upon the following 3 checkpoints. Tired as hell, we started off & after an excruciating trek got to the second checkpoint of the first ring. Pain and Suffering ensued as we started for the second one. Luckily we decided to follow the stream of a lil river thingy & not to try to climb those mountains again bc that would have been suicide. Things were getting dark by now (9pm) The river plan worked out wonderfully, we met up with some survivor buddies & reached the second checkpoint. (10pm) Once there we decided it would be a close one. We had about 2 hours left to get to home. One second ring checkpoint, 2 inner ring checkpoints (only about 2Om apart, we were told) and the spotting of "home" which was easily possible from as far as 1km by bare eye (we had binoculars) This was doable. If all went well..
Well, it didnt. We had no flashlight (lost it in the morning) & a cell phone light isnt all that to read a compass with! So no real compass tracking. No problem, we had the map & I knew exactly where we were. We continued along a road and crossed a field, all heavily guarded by hunters. We were looking for a certain path & discovered it to be A LOT further than we initially thought. We didnt find the second path (that was CRUCIAL to our plan) and just went trough the bushes. We found our second path (altough we re not all that sure about it being the Right path) and started off, only to discover that the things we were expecting werent there. By now it was (11.30 pm) so we had no chance of making it. We phoned in to try & check in our last checkpoint, only to have our deepest fears confirmed, we were at the wrong place! (she did tell us there were others who had that same problem, so it might have been the maps :s)
We decided to call it a night & arranged a pickup. We didnt make it, but we did manage to keep all our lives. Only 2 other groups managed to!
We learnt a lot & .. next time will be BETTER :D

Snowboarding was Great! Super :) We had a swell time. Some great trips trough the wilderness.. Great :)
Ive got so much stuff to yank about at the moment.. I can barely contain myself regarding the Blogger Code of Conduct (O Riley).. I have Stories to Tell..
But most of all, I lack time. I dont have the time to blog it all! I work double days this & last week. Each day, after my internship I go to the Hut for a closing shift. And its fun.. for a while. But now, although utterly relaxed & revitalized trough the miracle of snowboarding, I am piss tired. All I do is work, work & sleep. I cant even spend the time on mini I need to. And this is starting to weigh on all of us!
And I have another tough weekend comming! All I can hope is that next week, my schedule wont be that heavy. It shouldnt since vacation will be over so hut will slow down.. thank whatever..
In lighter news.. I got complemented on my English yesterday.. By some American folk, I presume. I find it hard to react to such a remark.. anywho, yaay, my English is ok..
AND
In Even More Important News..
The new Sopranos are airing :D Ok, not on any channel I get, but hey.. it feels good to know that they re running again :) Although .. its the last 8 eps :(

Im finally convinced :) There is No Reason WhatSoEver not to use linux! I used to have some small remaining reservations about a 100% linux box for professional reasons (and games of course :s) but thanks to VMWare there really is NO reason At ALL not to go for linux :) The only problem would be Windows support or native windows software without decent counterpart, but those problems have been solved thanks to virtualisation. I now have a virtual Win XP on my system, enabling me to still use those programs, while running linux!
Its great ;)

There is an Extremely interesting article on bloggers vs journalists on www.theapplicationdeliverynetwork.com
An interesting read! There are to key points to be made from the article (blog post.. the irony) The whole article boils down to this conclusion.. "until bloggers are bound by some sort of restrictions or code of conduct and actually offer more value than simply regurgitation of press releases or unsubstantiated comparisons, vendors cannot (and should not) treat them as first class citizens of the media community" which contains two parts..
The later part rightfully says Content is important! Repeating press releases does indeed make you a gathering point for that information, but does not mean that you are writing news, have joined the press corps. Newspapers do more that just repeat the information they are being fed by the companies! Thus to be comparable to "a real news source", bloggers should realize they need to do more than just post. Quality over Quantity..
The former is another one altogether. Throughut the whole article, the writer proves that he just is NOT ready for "the new news sources". Blogging might be the next style in journalism. And the whole article proves that the writer isnt ready to give that new idea a chance! After All.. Freedom of Press is an ever important issue and defining a viable source by the existence of behavioral (restricting) rules just sounds Wrong!
I d love to go into this some deeper but I just dont have the time for that right now. A final note tough.. I am not saying that blogging is the answer to anything. I am only pointing out the fact that, like all new things, its facing a lot of prejudice and negativism.

Phew Im tired..
Worked hard this weekend & on top of it all, the time change cost me an hour o sleep :( Smeg!
But I did some spending on friday :) Guess I just needed some fun & wel.. I got caried away..
I initially went out to get me the "Jazz Legends" box. I had a coupon (50%..) from knack & .. its a 10 cd box with different artist on each cd. (Ella Fitzgerald, Chet Baker, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Django Reinhardt, Charlie Parker, Stéphane Grapelli, Stan Getz, Billie Holiday, Miles Davis) Its great!
Mini wanted to come with me to go & get it so I waited for her. She had to go to the bathroom when we met downstairs, so I went to "De Poort", the next door commic store (its quite huge) to look around. I immediately discovered the new part of Gunnm, The Last Order (nr 9), so I picked it up. I wandered some further into the store (dangerous!!) and lo and behold.. I found another pearl.. A french Dracula commic. 2 parts in a box, Wonderfully drawn..It wasnt cheap, but I just NEEDED it!!
After that we went to the De Standaard to get the aforementioned box. I cant step into a book store without looking around and I was drawn to some EXTREMELY cheap art books! (€10) SO I bought this one!
www HR Giger com
Giger, H. R. (ED)
Hardcover, 23.8 x 29.7 cm (9.4 x 11.7 in.), 240 pages
We could have called it a day then.. but I guess I was destined to spend even more..
We bought a rice cooker. And I love it :)
cant make rice like that in a normal pot. Worth every cent!

I still UTTERLY LOVE that picture of Josslen!! It Is Simply AMAZING!! I Love It :)
..
There was a boy.. who wanted to grow dreadlocks. "I'll be part of that special community, made up by those cool people with dreadlocks." he tought.. "I'll have instant friends! A group of people I dont know individually but still am a member of. The few," he continued, "the special people. Those inspired by the great rastafarian tradition. Following in the footsteps of many religious men.. The Hindu, Astec, Indian, Māori (Ringatu) traditions. Old traditions!"
So he started his journey. Got some friends to do his hair. The start of a long trip. Dreadlocks are not simple to get. You need to make a decision, and stick with it. Not just for a week.. or a month.. Because the first year is awful. It does not look good. It does Not look like real dreadlocks.. to the trained eye!
The boy stuck with it. Although a hard ride. Its a growth process.. There are a lot of sites out there that tell you you cant change the locks you get. That tell you, you just have to take them & love them. That tell you you just do..
Altough I am not that boy, I do have dreadlocks & I can say.. Its true. Its something that grows with you and takes a lot of time & effort to get there! So when they 've matured.. they re SO Personal.. - this is starting to sound like having kids..
I had never considered a moment in time when Id say I love my hairstyle. But right now.. I just DO! Its amazing, really. And I'll have to give 'em up soon. Because of work, career and rigid social expectations about something as silly as appearance.
The boy needed to cut his hair too, some time later. and there is where i'll pick it up again, that history of his.. Although by telling it, by making it up, by .. its also a lil of my history. No writer can steer clear of his own machinations!
The boy cut his hair. And he wasnt happy with it. He was proud of the locks. They meant something to him. And they also meant the membership to the club to which he was a member, if only in his mind. That club of which he proudly wore the colors. That club he never saw the benifits of.
He realised that cutting his hair would mean the end of this membership, with no way to ever reclaim the pride. Scorned by all those members, as he used to scorn the normal folk.. At least not without looking like a loser.
Is there a morale?
naah :)
or maybe the morale would be "Dont care about what other people think" or .. "Dont expect dumb stuff to happen because of superficial dreck" or .. "dreck is a cool word"
I wonder how the above will read.. Like shit probably. Bus as usual.. I wont reread it :) So whatever! hehe
And now I should get off to bed. A swig of soda, some brushin of the ole teeth.. (yeah yeah, fuck english spelling)
I've started running. 2 times this week already.. I should get it up to three & keep it up.. I hope it works! Because the movement is doin me A Lot Of GOOD! Im even happier because of it!
and now its off to bed for me :) Writing stuff while watching other stuff - fun but not really quality insurance :)

Its amazing, really!
I can easily install a gentoo system
I can get it working all the way
EXCEPT the X
The X keeps on failing
And there is NO logic to it
I really dont get their new system, really DO NOT
Its incredible! Everything works untill I emerge world.
& that just BREAKS EVERYTHING!
I'm reinstalling. I'm going to get it working this time
& then calmly update all systems one by one
tough it bothers me not being able to decently update my own fuckin system
A system I've installed several times and worked with for Several YEARS!
Which is probably why I can keep it running. The X just hasnt been in my sphere of interest for several years! I only cared about system internals. And in some way, I still dont feel like putting much effort in the X! yet slightly more than before :/ So I'll figure this out one day or another :)
I went running with Sam & a mate of his today.. It was nice
It felt good to Finally get some juices running :) (yeah, no phun intended)
altough I might need some new running shoes. They re still ffin GREAT, but.. a bit small.. not a real surprise, I bought them 8 yrs ago :s
anywho, Im off to bed!
Gentoo is well underway & Startrek:TNG S2 e9 (or something alike)is running to its end. Nice series btw :)

Blackadder: "Allow me to be the first to offer Dr. Johnson my most sincere contrafibularities! I am anaspeptic, frasmotic, even compunctuous to have caused him such pericombobulation."
The truly hilarious thing, of course, is that all those un-words very nearly mean something.
Contrafibularities: Obviously from contra, against, + fibula, the smaller of the two bones in the lower leg. Means 'pulling one's leg'.
Anaspeptic: From ana. back or up, + peptic, pertaining to the stomach. Obviously refers to some form of upchuck.
Frasmotic: Possibly a portmanteau word, frazzled + spasmodic. So frazzled that one goes into a spasm.
Compunctuous: A variation of compunctious, slightly influenced by contemptuous. Having a bad conscience because one has harmed somebody one really despises.
Pericombobulation: From peri-, around, + discombobulation. Disturbance and confusion because someone has been running circles around one.
Easy peas. Stephen R. Donaldson's rococo stylisms, by comparison, are downright hermeneutogenic.
Great Article! Super! :D

Utter Fear and Loathing
Respect, Trust and Thrust issues
Weird & Unforeseen consequences
Self control?
No need for that on my behalf
This is so utterly annoying & agonizing
All I need right now .. But apparently thats too much to ask!
Yet there is a simple solution
Although stooping to that level might be an irrevocable decision.
the problem is only barely one of opportunity!
I should realy get to bed earlier tonight!

Two people, just meeting
Barely touching each other
Two spirits greeting
Trying to carry it further
You are one and I am another
We should be one inside each other
You can see inside me
Will you come inside me?
Do you wanna ride inside my love?
You can see inside me
Will you come inside me?
Do you wanna ride inside my love?
Two strangers, not strangers
only lacking the knowing
So willing, feeling, infinite growing
While we're here the whole world is turning
We should be one
Fulfilling our yearning
You can see inside me
Will you come inside me?
Do you wanna ride inside my love?
You can see inside me
Will you come inside me?
Do you wanna ride inside my love?"
This is SUCH an INCREDIBLY DIRTY song :) Tnx to the Guys from the Hut for pointing this out!

I want a girl who knows whats best,
I want a girl with shoes that cut,
and eyes that burn like cigerettes.
I want a girl with the right alocations,
Who is fast, and thorough, and sharpe as a tack.
Shes playing with her jewlery,
Shes putting up her hair,
Shes touring the facility
and picking up slack.
I want a girl with a short skirt and a long jacket.
I want a girl who gets up early, (gets up early!)
I want a girl who stays up late, (stays up late!)
I want a girl with uninterupted prosperity,
Who uses a machete, to cut through red tape.
WIth fingernails that shine like justice,
and a voice that is dark like tinted glass,
She is fast, and thorough, and sharpe as a tack.
Shes touring the facility
and picking up slack.
I want a girl with a short skirt and a long, long jacket.
(na na na na.....)
I want a girl with the smooth liquidation, (smooth liquidation!)
I want a girl with good dividends, (good dividends!)
At city bank we will meet accidently, (meet accidently!)
We start to talk when she borrows my pen.
She wants a car with a cup holder-arm rest,
She wants a car that will get her there.
Shes changing her name from Kitty to Karen,
Shes trading her MG for a white, Chrysler LaBaron
I want a girl with a short skirt and a long jacket.
I found her & i'm off to bed with her Right now :)
sleep!

This is what Beavis and Butthead had to say about it around the 40th second..
Hey look.. She s running away from home.. and she s only 30!
Beavis and Butt-Head are not role models. They're not even human; they're cartoons. Some of the things they do would cause a person to get hurt, expelled, arrested, possibly deported. To put it another way, DON'T try this at home
Beavis and Butt-head are not real. They are stupid cartoon people completely made up by this Texas guy who we hardly even know. Beavis and Butt-head are dumb, crude, thoughtless, ugly, sexist, self-destructive fools. But for some reason, the little weinerheads make us laugh.
Warning, warning extreme bad taste alert people, this comedy may offend some viewers so viewer discretion is advised ok
